Our meal was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, the juciest chicken sandwich I've ever had in Portland! I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. The chef was kind and inviting as well and that added to our experience. Please check this food cart out!

When it comes to fried chicken sandwiches in Portland, JoJo does it best! I first had JoJo's fried chicken sandwich when they had a pop up inside of LULU's with matta. Not only was I stoked that the sandwich came with a potato salad type of spread inside, but it was my first time ever trying JoJo's and second time trying anything from JoJo.

Justin Hintze

Head chef at JoJo, a popular food cart in SE Portland

It feels as if the cacophonous buzz for Jojo, the Southeast Portland fried chicken cart, will never dissipate. Justin Hintze, a former real estate agent turned chef, started to draw attention to his cart back in 2019 -- not even for the food necessarily, but for his absurdist captions.

Soon, however, people started to notice the food, too: the cart's smoked-then-fried chicken and hulking jojos with mashed-potato-fluffy interiors were enough to create exuberance for the cart.
