Long Shadow Technique Final Thoughts

In closing, there are a few things to remember from the course.

  • I created this animation with the dimensions of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. This was my preferred resolution. Feel free to change the dimensions of the animation to suit your liking.
  • The background can be an image or a video. This is your preference.
  • Really play around with your typography, after all, that is what Typographicx is all about. Try out different font families, colors, point sizes, character spacing and alignments.
  • The "Create Shapes from Text" menu option adds a layers of shapes to the animation that match the given typography.
  • Creating a repeating font is what makes this animation so easy. Feel free to play around with the repeater’s positioning to get different results.
  • Do not forget to click on the stopwatch then move ahead on the timeline before creating your copies.
  • Try out different opacities and shadow colors to get a desired look.
