I have been interested in animation for a very long time. Saturday morning cartoons were all the rage when I was growing up. In the late 80's I was able to use a VHS camcorder to practice stop-go animation using Lego figurines. VHS camcorders were extremely large and expensive in the 80's, so being able to try one out was amazing. I took a frame-by-frame snapshot of the Lego, gradually moving the figure a little at a time. It was only about a 15 second video, but it was cool to watch. Obviously, today's technology far surpasses technology of the 80's, so it is much "easier" these days to create animations.
