The DHS website contains practical information offering help to visitors for things like citizenship, travel, applying for business grants, reporting waste, fraud, and abuse, preparing for natural disasters and many other things. The problem stems from not making these actions a higher priority on the site. How might we improve the DHS website so that people like Marlen can do things like travel abroad?

Problem Statement

A more concise description of the issue to be improved upon was developed to identify the gap between the way the current DHS website is now and the desired state of the website after the potential redesign. Solving this problem would hopefully help DHS visitors like Marlen use the website more effectively.
